[Edlib] Updates to web databases, Cunningham Library

Dear EdLib subscribers.
 
I neglected to mention that in addition to the 273 new AEI records for
the month, an additional 800 records for pre-1978 theses have been
dispatched to the Australian Education Index (AEI) vendors. Previously
these records had only been available in the Education Research Theses
(ERT) database. Feedback from users in a recent survey encouraged us to
add these to the AEI directly. As time permits further work will be
undertaken to progressively upgrade these records.
 
All the Australian education research theses indexed by the Cunningham
Library are thus now available from both sources, AEI and ERT. ERT
remains the ideal source for those wishing to search specifically on
Australian thesis research in the area of education. Subscriptions to
ERT support the continued indexing of education theses and the inclusion
of theses data in the AEI.
