[Edlib] Updates to web databases, Cunningham Library

Dear subscribers to Ed-Lib

Just a note to let you know a couple of the Cunningham Library's
databases have been updated for the month:


EdResearch Online
http://cunningham.acer.edu.au/dbtw-wpd/sample/edresearch.htm
134 new records - there are now 9643 records in the Database. Note - the
pay-per-view mechanism is currently offline pending the rollout of a new
e-commerce facility at ACER, however the database can be searched as
normal.


Education Research Theses
http://www.acer.edu.au/library/catalogues/theses.html
62 new records for theses - there are now over 12000 Australian theses
relating to education listed in the ERT Database. Thanks to those of you
who recently completed a survey on the ERT database, the feedback has
been very useful. We would also like to hear from librarians who wish to
ensure our coverage of their institutions research theses is
comprehensive and up to date. Those of you who access the theses
Database via an institutional subscription can browse the 62 newest
additions from http://tinyurl.com/clm37


Database of Research on International Education
http://aei.dest.gov.au/AEI/PublicationsAndResearch/ResearchDatabase/
52 new records - there are now over 5000 records in DRIE, on all aspects
of international/export/transnational education and international
students. This database is complied by ACER for DEST and updated
monthly, and will be of interest to staff working with international
students (whether in teaching, administration, marketing, or student
services).


In all, 465 new records were created for the Australian Education Index
for the month. These records have been dispatched to vendors for
uploading into the various online versions of the AEI.
