[Edlib] Updates to web databases, Cunningham Library

Dear subscribers to Ed-Lib

Just a note to let you know a couple of the Cunningham Library's
databases have been updated:

EdResearch Online
http://cunningham.acer.edu.au/dbtw-wpd/sample/edresearch.htm
119 new records for Australian journal articles - there are now over
14000 articles in the database that can be purchased online for $22.00
and dispatched to your email account.


Education Research Theses (ERT)
http://www.acer.edu.au/library/catalogues/theses.html
12 new records for theses. 769 theses have been added so far this year,
an improvement on previous years when the database was updated annually.
13097 theses are currently listed in the database, including our first
overseas thesis with an Australian flavour.


Database of Research on International Education
http://aei.dest.gov.au/AEI/PublicationsAndResearch/ResearchDatabase/
83 new records on international education - there are now over 6050
records in DRIE, on all aspects of international/export/transnational
education and international students. There is no charge to search the
Database of Research on International Education. ACER produces this
database under contract for Australian Education International at DEST,
who make it freely available to search on their website.


In all, 610 new records were created for the Australian Education Index
for October, 120 of them for online documents. These records have been
dispatched to vendors for uploading into the various versions of the
AEI. 20349 AEI records now have URLs - hyperlinks to where the fulltext
of the publication can be freely downloaded off the web.
