Dear subscribers to Ed-Lib
Just a note to let you know a couple of the Cunningham Library's
databases have been updated:
Education Research Theses (ERT)
http://www.acer.edu.au/library/catalogues/theses.html
101 new records for theses. As well as very recent theses, work is also
continuing on backfilling theses that have been missed over the years,
as well as upgrading some of the very old records that lacked abstracts
and detailed subject indexing. 12827 theses are currently listed in the
database.
EdResearch Online
http://cunningham.acer.edu.au/dbtw-wpd/sample/edresearch.htm
131 new records for Australian journal articles - there are now 11475
records in the database that can be purchased online for $22.00 and are
dispatched to your email account. Documents available via EdREsearch
Online are also available to subscribers to Informit's A+Education, via
download from that database. Records in EdResearch Online are also now
searchable via EdNA Online's advanaced search page at
http://www.edna.edu.au/edna/search?SearchMode=Advancemode - tick the
ACER EdResearch Online box to see.
Database of Research on International Education
http://aei.dest.gov.au/AEI/PublicationsAndResearch/ResearchDatabase/
80 new records on international education - there are now over 5600
records in DRIE, on all aspects of international/export/transnational
education and international students. There is no charge to search the
Database of Research on International Education. ACER produces this
database under contract for Australian Education International at DEST,
who make it freely available to search on their website for anybody
interested.
In all, 917 new records were created for the Australian Education Index
for April, 277 of them for online documents. These records have been
dispatched to vendors for uploading into the various versions of the
AEI.
Also, those of you interested in Steiner educational philosophy can read
about, and buy, a new book we've just received on that topic at
http://avenuesforchange.com/

Stuart
