this vexing, perplexing situation.

You might remember that the NWEA group followed Rasch measurement 
from the outset: George Ingebo thought Wright's preposterous claims 
promised so much, that they could not afford to ignore then - just in 
case he was right.
Anyhow, a nice succinct look at what light the Rasch model might 
shine on the murky NCLB state standards.
