The Pacific Rim Objective Measurement Symposium (PROMS) 2007 will be 
held from 17th to 19th July 2007 at the National College Physical 
Education & Sports, TaoYuan, Taiwan, which is 4 days after the 
International Meeting of the Psychometric Society (IMPS), Tokyo,

) . We are pleased to hold this symposium and share its information 
with you. You are invited to participate in this exciting event and

Call for Papers and Submission & Presenter Guidelines, Deadline May 01, 2007:

Objective Measurement in Diverse Disciplines: We welcome any 
applications of Rasch measurement in any disciplines, such as 
education, psychology, sports, medicine, public health, management, 
sociology, and political science.

PROMS 2007 is the 3rd annual conference of the Pacific Rim Objective 
Measurement Symposium. This society focuses on recent advances of 
objective measurement. Its aim is to provide an international forum 
for discourse on the latest research in using Rasch measurement 
models as a tool for scientific progress. You are invited to join 
with a panel of distinguished researchers and other practitioners to 
share their expertise and your experiences in objective measurement. 
The program will include attached workshops according to demand. 
TaoYuan, a city near Taipei, is the host city for PROMS 2007. We 
promise you memorable experiences in this modern city, the essence of 
Taiwan natural & human sceneries.
