Assistant Professor: Educational Measurement and Psychometrics

The Department of Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation (ERME) 
is searching for a tenure-track faculty member at the level of Assistant 
Professor. Candidates are expected to show expertise in psychometrics, 
excellence in teaching, as well as interest and experience in 
methodological consulting. Psychometric expertise could include 
multidimensional item response theory models, latent class models, and 
computer-based and computer-adaptive testing applications. Interest in one 
or more related areas such as the cognitive foundations of testing, 
measurement issues in performance assessment or Bayesian modeling is 
desirable. Expertise in applied multivariate statistics is a plus. There is 
an opportunity to be associated with the internationally acclaimed Center 
for the Study of Testing, Evaluation and Educational Policy (CSTEEP). A 
commitment to and experience in teaching and mentoring undergraduate, 
master's, and doctoral students is required, along with an emerging or 
established record of scholarly publications and potential for success in 
securing external funding.
