Friends, For more than 30 years, Rasch Measurement Transactions (see http://rasch.org/rmt/contents.htm)has been publishing short research notes, news, tutorials, and commentariesrelating to all things Rasch measurement. I write to request your submissionfor a special theme issue on “Teaching Rasch Measurement” that is scheduled forrelease this fall. As most of you know, Ben Wright famously used his yardstickto illustrate the principles of objective measurement in his courses at theUniversity of Chicago. This issue intends to pay homage to Ben’s teaching by introducingpractical ideas, tips, techniques and more that may help others effectively teachand learn about Rasch measurement. Submissions may be quite broad in scope, andmay be from the perspective of either a teacher or learner. Submissions are notlimited to any particular setting (e.g., classrooms) or modality (e.g.,face-to-face, online, hybrid, etc.). Please contact the editor (Editor at Rasch.org) with any questions or to submityour brief note (about 400 words with a table/image or 750 words without atable/image). Deadline for submissions is October 1. Of course, if you would like to submit content for a futureissue of RMT, please contact the editor at the email address above. To join themailing list, please subscribe at www.rasch.org. Regards, Ken
