appointment. It may not say "psychometrician" explicitly in the title,
but it is, as you can surely tell from the contents.

Urban Education Institute, Consortium on School Research 

Senior Research Associate

The University of Chicago Consortium on School Research at the Urban
Education Institute invites applications for a Senior Research
Associate. The successful candidate will be a psychometrician who will
lead work on the measurement of phenomena related to student learning
and school improvement, principally using annual surveys of
administrators, teachers, and students, but also administrative data
(including grades, attendance, and standardized test scores). S/he will
lead efforts to create and validate new survey scales as well as
monitor the quality and performance of existing scales over time. The
psychometrician will also provide psychometric and methodological
expertise to other research teams at the Consortium.

Applicants must have a doctorate in statistics, biostatistics, or
measurement and at least five years of postdoctoral work experience.
Advanced skills in Rasch analysis, IRT methods, test equating, and
survey data analysis are required. 

The UChicago Consortium investigates the progress and challenges of
Chicago Public Schools, identifies how programs and policies are
working, and discovers what matters for school and student success. It
focuses its research on Chicago, while answering questions that are
relevant nationwide. It is one of four units of the Urban Education
Institute, whose mission is to create knowledge to produce reliably
